Pennywell Farm

A visit to Pennywell Farm is an unforgettable experience for the whole family. This multi-award-winning farm offers a range of activities, from hands-on encounters with animals and exciting rides to shows and displays.

As the largest activity farm in the South West, something always happens every 30 minutes, so keep an ear out for the bell. Meet over 150 animals, enjoy thrilling pig races, and take tractor rides for a day filled with laughter and joy.

Mothecombe Beach

Only a six-minute drive away, Mothecombe Beach is a true gem. This stunning beach boasts a sandy shore and a tidal estuary, providing ample opportunities for exploration. Convenient parking is available at the top of the beach for a fee of £5. After a day of seaside fun, head to the School House Restaurant near the car park for delicious food and drinks.

Bantham Beach

Located within the designated South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bantham Beach is a must-visit destination. With its Blue Flag status and recognition from the Marine Conservation Society, this beach offers pristine sandy shores and breathtaking views of Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island.

Kids will love the unique experience of riding the famous "sea tractor" to Burgh Island. Bantham Beach is ideal for families, featuring shallow waters and sun-warmed rock pools.

Hope Cove

Mouthwell Sands, the nearest beach to the car park, offers a mix of sand and rocky areas, perfect for sandcastle building, sunbathing, and exploring fascinating rock pools. The longer Harbour Beach is situated just south of Mouthwell Sands.
